Bite believes the ability to give good strategic counsel is generally based on seven inter-related factors - understanding of what the client does/offers and its performance and customer characteristics; understanding of the market in which the client operates and the competitive landscape; understanding of the client's business and marketing objectives; having a deep and holistic view of PR and what it can and cannot do; experience; a logical, organized and inquisitive way of thinking; and a fearlessness and willingness to have a POV. Bite believes it has consultants at all levels with these attributes and doesn't confine creative thinking to the senior-level leaders of the business. That said, we don't seek to abuse the trusts of clients by offering half-baked strategies or being cavalier with advice. Generally strategic counsel is delivered in one:one meetings between the Bite account lead and the client, or in monthly client meetings when the senior client and account lead are present.
